S.I.M.S. Programming
After School Program
Youth aged 14-18
FREE after school program for Aliquippa (and surrounding areas) high school students interested in the construction and trade fields. This 12-week program is offered Tuesday through Thursday and provides students with hand on application, guest speakers, field trips and more.
S.I.M.S. After School Program also offers academic assistance and life skills topics to prepare the students, and their families, for success. Both males and females are welcome to step outside of the pen and paper, classroom setting and use their hands to create! These students will be able to experience the process of bringing back to life broken structures turning them into habitable homes for the community. Instilling pride and respect for their neighborhood and creating a constructive use of their free time.

Monthly Classes - Adults
Adults over 18
Evening classes for those interested in learning various aspects of the construction industry. Our programs can help you take on projects in your home, teach you how to care for different areas within your space and so much more!
Topics include drywall, flooring, and more. When in session, this program is offered Monday and Friday evenings with an additional hands-on application day Saturday morning. These sessions will range from 4-12 weeks depending on the material being covered.

Summer Initiative Program
Youth & Adults aged 14-24
S.I.M.S. Programming in connection with Sims Contracting Company, offers the opportunity for the youth to work on job sites and receive payment paid & unpaid internships in the construction and other specialized trade fields.
The participants will receive paid on the job training. They will also receive job preparation skills and expand their professional network.
The program runs from June - August and specific dates/times will be assigned based on project load. If you are interested in being considered for our program, use the link below to apply.
